Thank you for supporting Africa Fashion Week Maryland & Maryland Africa Fashion Week (AFWMMAFW) (“AFWMMAFW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Refund Policy explains our position regarding refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase. By purchasing tickets, products, or services from AFWMMAFW, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy in full.

This policy applies to all purchases made through our official website, ticketing platforms, and authorized third-party vendors.

1. All Sales Are Final

All sales are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

• General admission and VIP tickets
• Designer application and registration fees
• Model participation fees
• Vendor and exhibitor fees
• Sponsorship packages
• Advertising, marketing, and promotional packages
• Any products, services, or experiences offered by AFWMMAFW

Once a purchase is completed, no refunds, exchanges, or transfers will be issued for any reason, including scheduling conflicts, illness, travel issues, dissatisfaction, or inability to attend.

2. No Chargebacks or Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you expressly agree that:

• You will not initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank, credit card provider, or payment service.
• Any attempt to reverse or dispute a charge may result in revocation of event access, cancellation of participation, and potential legal action.
• You accept full responsibility for reviewing event details prior to completing your purchase.

3. Limited Exceptions – Event Cancellation

Refunds will be considered only if an AFWMMAFW event is officially canceled in its entirety and cannot be rescheduled.

In such circumstances:

• Purchasers will be notified via email and/or official announcements on our website and social media platforms.
• Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
• Alternatively, AFWMMAFW may offer the option to transfer tickets or registrations to a rescheduled date or a future event.

Weather Policy: Events may proceed rain or shine. Weather-related decisions are made at the sole discretion of AFWMMAFW based on venue policies, safety considerations, and public guidance. Weather conditions alone do not guarantee a refund unless the event is fully canceled.

4. Assumption of Risk & Disclaimer

By purchasing tickets or attending an AFWMMAFW event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
• AFWMMAFW is not responsible for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, property damage, or inconvenience arising from attendance or participation.
• AFWMMAFW is not liable for disruptions caused by third parties, including venues, vendors, sponsors, ticketing platforms, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Third-Party Platforms

Tickets and registrations may be processed through third-party platforms such as Eventbrite, Stripe, PayPal, or similar services. AFWMMAFW is not responsible for delays or errors caused by these platforms. All refund determinations remain subject to this Refund Policy.

6. Policy Modifications

AFWMMAFW reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting with an updated Last Updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
